&Rise Presents: Neurobiology of Trauma

At & Rise, we believe in Prevention Education which means we educate others about sexual assault to prevent assaults from happening in the first place.

Prevention is important because when one is offered resources, supports, or coping strategies that allow them to understand sexual assault and what it entails, it allows them to cope effectively, even under stress.

In this video, we are joined by Andrea Carrillo, a Sexual Assault Community Educator for Mujeres Latinas en accion, who educates us on Neurobiology After Trauma.
