Burger Fest Volunteers Needed!

Support group facilitators for sexual and/or domestic abuse
Our support groups are growing and we are looking for more mission-driven volunteers to facilitate additional support groups. Our support groups are held for 1.5 hours per session and we require a minimum of 1-year commitment to the nonprofit.

Experienced interns to assist with grant writing
This is a remote position so you can work from anywhere. We are seeking someone who is willing to work 5-7 hours per week. We like our interns to be mission-driven as our organization helps women survivors of abuse.

Experienced interns to assist with fundraising
To start this is an unpaid internship but there are several opportunities for growth as we obtain funding and grants as we grow. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working independently and able to show results as well as deliverables. We prefer an intern with at least one year of fundraising experience.

Newsletter Content Creator Needed
We are seeking an additional volunteer to help with our weekly newsletter. We need a creative person who loves writing to create content that inspires and empowers women.
We are willing to train the right person and only are asking for 3-5 hours of your time per week.

Community Outreach/Tabling Volunteer (Vernon Hills, IL)
As an Outreach & Tabling Ambassador, you are the first point of connection between &Rise and the community. You will represent our organization at community health fairs, local festivals, schools, and partner events across Lake County. Your goal is to raise awareness, share our resources with survivors who need them, and engage potential donors and volunteers.
