Welcome Home and Happy Anniversary, &Risers!

This July brought one of the most momentous occasions in &Rise history. On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, we celebrated our five-year anniversary with a Welcome Home Party at our new location in Sauganash. Our board, funders, and clients all came together to see the new space for the first time and reminisce about everything we’ve accomplished together. We also got a preview of some of the upcoming events in the works.

We’re conveniently located at 4801 W Peterson, right off the Cicero and Peterson bus lines and I-94.

Until this point, we’ve only met in Jennifer’s living room and spaces other organizations graciously let us use. (Shout out to Anne’s Haven, Tribe, and everyone else who has hosted us over the years!) This new location means we can offer more counseling, bigger support groups, and even more empowering workshops. We’ll still be venturing out into Chicagoland and northwest Indiana for select events and support groups.

Here’s what you can expect in the years to come:

  • The same support groups you know and love

  • Healing events such as group reiki, somatic experiencing, sound bath

  • Book clubs and film discussions

  • Writing circles and open mics

  • Training and networking for speakers (Hello, Latina Speaking Network!)

  • Professional development for the small business community

  • Fundraising events

Keep an eye on our Events page or subscribe to our weekly newsletter to get notified about what’s happening.

Have a great idea that’s not on the list? Take our survey and let us know what you want to see.

Thank You for Your Support! We’ve Got Big Plans

We feel so blessed to finally have a place to call our own. Thank you so much to every donor, volunteer, event attendee, and supporter who has been a part of our story. We couldn’t have made it this far without you.

We’ve really made the space our own, as you can see. (Yes, we have a throne.) However, there are a few things left on our Amazon wish list. Please help us outfit our space with everything we need to help more women become the ultimate versions of themselves.

Thanks again for helping us build our community and this new space for women survivors. We’re just getting started.
